高記 復興店

今天中午原本計畫要去SOGO復興店吃鼎泰豐，但是排隊的人實在是太多了，所以老媽就提議改去吃附近一間同樣在賣小籠湯包的餐廳"高記"。老媽說高記是永康街的名店，這間復興店是分店。

菜單上的菜色和鼎泰豐很類似，大多是小籠包，燒賣等港式點心與上海點心。我們還在菜單上發現了小嵐在大陸吃過就念念不忘的"上海生煎包"。

先上桌的是兩樣小菜，豬耳朵與小魚乾。這裡的豬耳朵與一般外面賣的不同，不是切成絲，而是切成有點厚度的薄片。一般的豬耳朵吃起來比較脆，而高記的吃起來像豬耳朵"凍"，口感頗佳，味道也不錯。至於小魚乾真的是超好吃，超脆的。不會太辣也不會"死鹹"。

接著上來的就是小籠包(10個$150)，海鮮酸辣湯與上海乾拌麵($60)，小籠包看起來和鼎泰豐的根本就一模一樣，皮也是一樣超薄的，裡面充滿了湯汁。美味程度不輸鼎泰豐。酸辣湯裡面的料很多，有蟹肉，干貝和蝦仁。上海乾拌麵則較為普通，雖然也不錯，但是還是鼎泰豐的蔥花干麵略勝一籌。

再來就是最期待的上海鐵鍋生煎包，上桌時鐵鍋還發出滋滋的聲響，外觀與在大陸吃的生煎包類似，生煎包的底部在鐵鍋上煎的脆脆的。由於之前在上海與蘇州吃的生煎包裡面都和小籠包一樣充滿湯汁，所以我小心翼翼的咬了一小口，準備要吸湯汁，啊~~怎麼沒有湯汁呢?令我有點失望。生煎包的外觀雖然和大陸的很像，但是吃起來就差了一點，大陸的底部吃起來更酥脆，也許是用大鍋子煎，火力比較強的關係吧。

甜點當然是點了我最愛的豆沙小包，去鼎泰豐我可以不吃小籠包，但是絕對不能錯過皮超薄豆沙小包。豆沙小包剛端上桌時大家都傻眼了，以為他送錯了，因為這根本不是"小包"啊，是"大包"，這裡的豆沙小包不是像鼎泰豐的一樣小巧可愛，而是比較像是一般的豆沙包的大小。

我們就坐在廚房的旁邊，可以透過一大片的玻璃看到廚房裡廚師準備料理的過程。這點也和鼎泰豐很類似。我覺得高記的料理美味程度不輸鼎泰豐，而且不用排隊排老半天，是除了鼎泰豐以外想吃小籠包以及其他上海點心的另外一個好選擇。

科學麻辣冰

今天下班吃飽飯後心血來潮，決定去嚐嚐前幾天電視上介紹的科學麻辣冰，從公園路轉長榮路，過了大學路一小段就到了這間"阿強仔冰店"。我點的當然是"科學麻辣冰"，由於之前在網路上看到有人因為太辣了，配了兩杯西瓜之才吃完，所以我又另外點了一杯冬瓜茶。

這裡的冰品種類很多，除了冰以外，還有賣關東煮與鍋燒麵，點餐是在櫃檯填寫點菜單，付完錢後店員會給你號碼牌，接著就等著叫號碼啦。點完餐不到一分鐘我點的冰就好了。第一眼看到這"科學麻辣冰"，覺得老闆真是太天才了，竟然能想到這種組合。冰就是一般的挫冰，還有糖水，上面灑滿捏碎的科學麵，科學麵附的調味粉與辣粉。

第一口先從旁邊沒有科學麵的地方吃起，真的就是一般的糖水挫冰，沒啥特別。第二口吃了一些科學麵，鹹鹹甜甜的，冰冰脆脆的，真的是奇特的味道加上詭異的口感，還真不是一般的特別阿!!第三口吃了一沾到辣粉的科學麵與冰。A~~真的是這被子第一次吃到的口味勒，沒有想像中的辣。一口接著一口吃，雖然不會很辣，但是吃到後來舌頭和嘴唇都變得麻麻的，頭皮也冒了點汗。冰的份量還漫多的，可以兩個人吃一份，而且建議別吃太慢，因為等到科學麵泡得軟軟的時候，吃起來的口感應該會有點噁心吧。

至於冬瓜茶呢，不知道是不是冰的口味太重的關係，所以我一點也喝不出味道來啊，疴疴!!

Bret William Saberhagen (pronounced /ˈseɪ̪bɚˌheɪ̪ɡɨn/; born April 11, 1964 in Chicago Heights, Illinois) is a former Major League Baseball right-handed starting pitcher. His nickname was 'Sabes.'

Bret William Saberhagen (出生於1964年4月11日，依利諾州) 是前大聯盟先發投手。他的綽號為"Sabes"。

Career

Saberhagen was drafted out of high school by the Kansas City Royals in the 19th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft and made his Major League debut on April 4, 1984. He made an immediate impact with the team, compiling a 10-11 record and a 3.48 ERA. The Royals made the postseason but lost to the Detroit Tigers. Saberhagen pitched well in his first postseason start, giving up two runs in 8 innings.

Saberhagen在高中畢業後於1982年選秀會上被堪薩斯皇家隊在第19輪選上，並且於1984年4月4日首度於大聯盟登板投球。他的10勝11敗，3.48自責分率成績立即帶給球隊很大的幫助。皇家隊打進季後賽，但是卻在首輪敗給底特律老虎隊。Saberhagen首次在季後賽先發就有出色的表現，八局只失掉兩分。

Who is Whitey Ford?

Edward Charles "Whitey" Ford (born October 21, 1928[1]) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who spent his entire 18-year career with the New York Yankees. He was voted into the Hall of Fame in 1974.

Edward Charles "Whitey" Ford(出生於1926年10月21日)是前大聯盟投手，他的18年職業生涯完全奉獻給紐約洋基隊。Ford於1974年入選棒球名人堂。

Early life and career

Ford was a native of the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, located in New York City just a few miles from Yankee Stadium over the Triborough Bridge.[2] Ford was signed by the New York Yankees as an amateur free agent in 1947, and played his entire career in a Yankees uniform. He was given the nickname "Whitey" while in the minor leagues for his exceptionally blond hair. Ford graduated from Aviation High School in nearby Sunnyside, Queens. [3]

Ford出生於紐約市皇后區的亞士多利亞，越過三區大橋距離洋基球場僅幾哩的距離。Ford於1947年以菜鳥自由球員的身分與洋基隊簽約，且生涯自始至終都效力於洋基隊。在小聯盟時由於一頭顯眼的金髮，所以得到了"Whitey"這個綽號。

Ford began his Major League Baseball career on July 1, 1950, with the Yankees and made a spectacular debut, winning his first nine decisions before losing a game in relief. Ford received a handful of lower-ballot Most Valuable Player votes despite throwing just 112 innings, and was voted the AL Rookie of the Year by the Sporting News. (Walt Dropo was the Rookie of Year choice of the BBWAA.)

Rodney Roy Beck (August 3, 1968 – June 23, 2007[1]) was an American relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the San Francisco Giants (1991-1997), Chicago Cubs (1998-1999), Boston Red Sox (1999-2001) and San Diego Padres (2003-2004). He batted and threw right handed.

The Oakland Athletics drafted Rod Beck as a starting pitcher in the 13th round (327th pick) of the 1986 MLB Amateur Draft. In 1989, while with the San Jose Giants of the California League[2], he posted a record of 11-2 between opening day and June 13th when he was promoted to the Shreveport Captains of the Double A Texas League. Rod made his Major League debut on May 6, 1991, versus the Montreal Expos. His performance was forgettable, (2.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER), but his season numbers were more impressive. He had a 3.78 ERA; pitched 52⅓ innings in 31 games; struck out 38 & walked 13. In 1992, Rod took over as the regular closer from Dave Righetti and posted a record of 3-3 with 17 saves and a 1.76 ERA. He pitched 92 innings over 65 games and struck out 87 while walking only 15. Beck's best season was in 1993[3], when he recorded 48 saves, including a then-record 24 straight for the Giants.

Juan Antonio Marichal Sánchez (born October 20, 1937 in Laguna Verde, Dominican Republic) is a former right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, and inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Playing for the San Francisco Giants most of his career, Marichal was known for his high leg kick, dominating stuff and intimidation tactics, which included aiming pitches directly at the opposing batters' helmets. Marichal also played for the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers for the final two seasons of his career.

Playing career

Marichal's delivery was renowned for one of the fullest windups in modern baseball, with a high kick of his left leg that went nearly vertical (even more so than Warren Spahn's delivery). Marichal maintained this delivery his entire career, and photographs taken near his retirement show the vertical kick only slightly diminished. The windup was the key to his delivery in that he was consistently able to conceal the type of pitch until it was on its way.

Marichal was discovered by Ramfis Trujillo, the son of late Dominican dictator Rafael Leonidas Trujillo. Ramfis was the primary sponsor of the Dominican Air Force Baseball Team (Aviacion Dominicana), which Marichal pitched a 2-1 victory game in his native Monte Cristi. From the very moment the game ended, Marichal was a member of Aviacion Dominicana team, enlisted to the Air Force right on the spot by Ramfis' orders.[1]

David is the son of Robert and Nettie Justice. His father left the family when Justice was two years old. Justice graduated from Covington Latin School in Covington, Kentucky at age 16 in 1982. He skipped the seventh and eighth grades. He then attended Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky majoring in Criminal Justice.

Justice made his major league debut in May 1989, playing for the last-place Braves. The young right fielder earned the starting job after Braves fan favorite Dale Murphy was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. Justice promptly went on an offensive tear during the second half of the 1990 season, finishing with 28 home runs, which certainly helped him claim the National League's Rookie of the Year Award. In 1991, the Braves suddenly found themselves as a winning team, and Justice, who finished with 87 runs batted in despite being injured for part of the season, played in his first World Series.

After seeing his production slide slightly in 1992, Justice enjoyed a monster 1993 season. He clubbed 40 home runs and 120 RBIs with 78 walks, finishing third in MVP voting behind Barry Bonds and Lenny Dykstra. Justice was batting .313 with a .427 on base percentage and .531 slugging average when the strike ended play in 1994.

Who is Thurman Munson?

Thurman Lee Munson (June 7, 1947 – August 2, 1979) was an American catcher in Major League Baseball who played with the New York Yankees from 1969 to 1979. Munson was killed at age 32 while trying to land his personal airplane.

Thurman Lee Munson (1947年7月7日 - 1979年8月2日) 是前大聯盟捕手，1969年至1979年間效力於紐約洋基隊。Munson在試圖降落他的私人飛機時不幸身亡，享年32歲。

Life and career

Born in Akron, Ohio to Darrell Vernon Munson and Ruth Myrna Smylie, Thurman grew up in nearby Canton. He graduated from Lehman High School in Canton, where he earned scholarship offers from various colleges due to his standout performances in football, basketball, as well as baseball. [1] Munson opted to attend nearby Kent State University on scholarship, where he was a teammate of pitcher and broadcaster Steve Stone. At Kent, Munson joined the Delta Upsilon fraternity. In September 1968 he married Diane Dominick at St. Paul's Parish, Canton.

In the summer of 1967, Munson joined the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League leading his Chatham A's to their first ever league title. In the process Munson hit an amazing .420. To recognize this achievement and his subsequent MLB career, the Thurman Munson Batting award is given each season to the CCBL's best hitter.
